This evening I encountered 45 year-old Chang Hun from Gwangju, South Korea, singing "Nessun Dorma" ("None Shall Sleep") from Puccini's opera Turandoat down Stone Mountain, as his wife, Yuekeum Lee Grace, and Baptist host family for the next two weeks looked on. The tenor says he's only been officially training as an opera singer for the past five months ("an opportunity presented itself"), but he sure sounds like pro to me. Take a listen to Chang Hun and Puccini and you be the judge.
